Dustin Poirier Will Not Chase Conor McGregor Fight If He Beats Dan Hooker

Dustin Poirier will not chase a Conor McGregor rematch if he defeats Dan Hooker at UFC on ESPN 12, who recently retired for the third time in nearly four years.

According to TMZ Sports, Poirier would like the financial aspect of a McGregor rematch but would rather fight Tony Ferguson for another shot at the belt soon.

“I mean I’d love to for the financial part of it, but I’m not chasing grudge matches at this point in my life,” Poirier said about his potential next fight after Hooker. “I’d rather fight Tony Ferguson and get closer to the title, but we’ll see what happens.”
